Hydraulic guillotine shearing machine

A guillotine shear brings the blade down vertically, holding the cut square through thicker plate and tighter length tolerance. 45 standard models from 4 to 30 ton, cutting lengths from 1.6 to 6 m.

What this machine is

A hydraulic guillotine shearing machine cuts sheet metal with the upper blade descending vertically through the material onto the lower blade. Because the blade does not swing through an arc, the cut stays square through thicker plate and the length tolerance holds — the reason guillotine machines are chosen when accuracy and capacity matter more than the lowest purchase price.

We build these in 45 standard models from 4 x 1600 to 30 x 1600(tonnage x cutting length in mm), covering cutting lengths from 1.6 to 6 m — including short beds for shops where floor space is the constraint. Special models are custom-built to order.

What sets this range apart

Three features distinguish this guillotine range from the swing beam machines:

  • Electric shear angle adjustment. The shear angle adjusts automatically to the thickness of the plate being cut — no manual intervention. Thicker plate needs a wider angle to keep cutting force within the machine's capacity; the control makes the adjustment, so there is one setting less to get wrong and force stays consistent job to job.
  • Servo backgauge drive. The backgauge runs on a servo reduction motor with fast, accurate positioning — repeatable dimensions on production runs rather than stop-and-measure work.
  • SVP energy-saving drive system. Fitted as standard, the drive matches power to demand instead of running the hydraulic system at full flow regardless of load.

Machine structure

  • Frame. Split steel plate construction, welded and tempered in a large tempering furnace to eliminate deformation from welding and machining stress — the step that decides the machine's accuracy retention. Machined as an integrated unit where it matters: higher rigidity, more stable precision, less assembly error, less deformation and longer service life.
  • Hydraulics. Rexroth valve blocks with hydraulic overload protection and real-time oil pressure monitoring. The pressure/clamping device holds the sheet flat through the cut.
  • Blades. Ground upper and lower blades with adjustable clearance — the setting that decides edge squareness and burr, proportional to material thickness and type.
  • Backgauge. Heavy-duty rear stopper, impact-resistant and deformation-resistant, on a frame that makes loading and unloading straightforward. Manual and automatic lifting both available for long material.
  • Front support arms and table. Spherical integrated front supports reduce friction between sheet and table — faster feeding, cleaner sheet surfaces.
  • Cutting line lighting. The standard alignment device projects a line shadow onto the sheet from the machine's own light source — a straight reference to cut to, replacing mark-and-cut.
  • Feed opening. Minimum feed height equals sheet thickness; maximum equals sheet thickness plus 20–25 mm, set with height-adjustable screws. Front guard plate and side rails protect the operator, and the feed guard carries an induction switch — lift it during operation and the machine cuts power automatically.
  • Rear protection. Photoelectric protection across the rear of the cutting area, guarding the operator and especially fingers.
  • Pneumatic rear support. Supports wide sheet during cutting; folds away with one action when not in use.
  • Lubrication. Automatic or manual, both available.

Control system and drive

The machine runs a TP10S control system. The main motor is available from international brands such as Siemens, or established domestic brands including Huyuan (Shanghai) and Wannan, and voltage is built to order — three-phase 220 V / 60 Hz, 380 V / 60 Hz, 415 V / 60 Hz and other configurations for North American and other grids.

Installation, training and after-sales

  1. Foundation. We provide the foundation drawing; you are responsible for the construction work.
  2. Shipment notice. When the machine is assembled at our works, we notify you of the shipment schedule and what to prepare for installation.
  3. Installation and commissioning. Our engineers install and commission the machine at your site, with your cooperation — you provide lifting equipment, water, electricity, hydraulic oil and the necessary conditions.
  4. Training. During installation and commissioning we train your technical staff free of charge and provide technical consultation. If you need an engineer to travel for debugging, that cost is reimbursed at actuals.
  5. Acceptance. On completion, both parties inspect and accept the machine jointly against the signed technical agreement and its attachments.
  6. Warranty. Three-guarantee policy from the date of sale, with a three-year quality guarantee from the date of acceptance. Within the warranty period, component damage not caused by the user is replaced free of charge; wearing parts are excluded.
